So we ended up cooking up the 10 carrots, roasted, the rest of the Spanish tortilla, made a salad out of the remaining tomato, cucumber, lettuce, cheese and bacon and made a delicious garlic bread with the last remaining mini baguette. ... Spanish Tortilla. It turns out that a tortilla was, and is, the name of a thick round omelette, but when Spaniards conquered Mexico they named the thin flat bread after the thick round omelette.
