... good. It will be a pleasant evening for fireworks but we will not be able to see them from here and to little parking downtown to join in! They used to be at the fairground which is almost across the road from the house!

July 5th-Sunday-Hung around the house. 98 degrees! We had good French Toast outside on the patio for breakfast-well, really lunch! Sharon and I did a 2 mile walk winding around the neighborhood.

... with one of the highest Masonic domes in the U.S. It's a very nice building but it's basically what's happening in Olympia. I did consult a local (the girl in the gift shop) but she assured me nothing else was worth visiting. That's about what the tour guide said. Washington and Oregon have one nasty thing. Gushing wind. May 21, 2015 Thursday-Up early—Lots of noise coming up from the street. Tried to call Monica but no answer. At noon walked across street to the PSU music hall for a guitar concert. It was good but strange. There were 13 guys preforming and somehow they made it sound like a harpsicord!! At no time did they sound like conventional guitars. I did enjoy it. ... part of Portland at 7:00, JUST as Evoe closed up shop for the evening. After fuming at the 1%’er again, we settled on a tiny French bistro that specialized in crepes called Chez Machin. It ended up being amazing and reasonably priced, so maybe it all worked out for the best.

... else’s house—at mine I would have cleaned shelves or found some tasks to do. So I read and played Candy Crush on computer. I am up to game 101 now. Supposed to rain the rest of my time here—and I won’t get to do all the things I had planned. Phil called several times and that is nice.
