First person accounts from the pioneers and legends from Native Americans are also included within the walkways. The Oregonians do a marvelous job paying tribute to those brave souls.

The park is across the street ...

Every traveler gets weary and even this social butterfly needs some alone time once in a while. I also didn't want to rush my way through Oregon, as I'd never been there before. I had an errand of getting a leak in my tire fixed in Shasta City (which was free. Always awesome.) Other than the weirdos that frequent the place, I do have to say Shasta is a nice town for some good beard sitings. ;0) I also had to return to the cafe where I'd picked up breakfast, as I'd actually ...
