... 10 hours (for no discernible reason, but the whole area was out). We got everything settled for the house-sitter, and then left about noon.

The drive took just about 8 hours exactly--that included a stop for a geocache (153 days and counting), a bathroom stop, a stop for gasoline (and a second geocache--this one in WV), and a stop for dinner. Not ...

The next part of the tour was to the bourbon distillery where we got to sample their spirits. They had rye, ...

We spent the day driving through the winding roads of the Appalachian Mountains. When we entered Kentucky I was surprised at how foresty it was. The roads were incredibly windy and Chris had to be careful for the sharp turns. There are a lot of Pick-up trucks in this part ...

... decisions and lots of changes for Nathan. So excited to share his journey even from afar. We got to Keeneland to watch the ponies, went to the high school football game that was a blow out, and to band quarter finals. We got to see the band show twice and enjoyed it more each time. Also watched many of the other area bands performance in preparation of KMEA finals next Saturday. It was Youth Sunday ...
