Good morning,
Yesterday was the hardest day of the trail so far. I have included some pictures of the beautiful scenery and some of the difficult obstacles we encountered. The water crossings were especially challenging due to the slick bottoms. The low of the day - my bike literally slid perpendicular to my destination due the moving water and the slippery bottom. Tn., All I can say is there are NO words that can begin to describe how slippery the rock bottoms of these creeks are, there is NO WAY that you can just ride through them, I was creeping through one, with my feet down and the current from six inches of water turned the bike sideways, its like glare ice. Anyway we both made them all succesfully and never got wet, but it wasn't easy!!
