A travel blog entry by sethfield on May 16, 2015

After leaving Tupelo on Saturday morning I spent the rest of the morning at Brice's Crossroads National Battlefield, which was fairly well-preserved (certainly compared to Tupelo) and very interesting to me since it is probably the best-known of Nathan Bedford Forrest's victories. It was a little confusing because the various parts of the …

The investigation has still not been put to rest as the person that hit her was previous law enforcement, and lost biker/car accidents are pinned on bikers even though cyclists have right of way on roads. Puts into perspective that missing 95mi for the safety of us all is ...

Today's been a strange day. We didn't ride. But first, the reason for today's blog title. I'm glad I'm blogging and recording all of this. I'm glad for personal reasons- that 20 years down the road I'll be able to refer to this and remember it. I'm also glad to be blogging because I want to share this journey with all of my amazing donors and supporters. I wouldn't be on this trip without you and I'm most sincerely and humbly thankful. It is tricky though, in all honesty. This ...
