... I find myself trying hard to tune into to conversations around me, hoping to pick up words or phrases that I understand.

After this week, I'm starting to feel more confident using public transportation to get around. It is still nerve-racking whenever I go to speak German but it will get easier the more I practice and learn. We are very happy to be able to call Munich our home for the next few ...

The Dachau concentration camp is one of the few places in Europe that still has it's original crematoriums and gas chambers in tact. It was also the longest running camp, spanning from March 1933 until liberation in late April 1945, so 12 years in total. I decided to join a guided tour because it was cheaper than the audio-guide, funnily enough. I learned ...

... We are super close to town too which is awesome. Didn't manage to sleep much on our first night as we had some 60 year old staying in our dorm (WTF?) and he snored like a bush pig...as you can imagine we both woke up on the wrong side of the bed (along with the other 4 in the room). Thankfully he checked out that morning, so we don't have to purchase ear plugs!

The first day here was literally a right off as we were both so tired from ...
