    ... in the day. So off we went and caught a train in about 9:30. It was an easy hour long ride without any changes. We didn't really have a plan when we got to Munich except to start wandering.

    ... she was struggling to deal with it.  Once Kim had her nap, we took a stroll round the park, walking past a group of naked sunbathers in the process! After a few hours in the English Garden, we grabbed a spot of lunch at the Lowenbrau beer hall.  We shared a platter of sausages with mashed potato, sauerkraut and grated horseradish.  Obviously, I washed mine down with a pint of Lowenbrau.     ... into our hotel/hostel, it was already around 2pm. We decided to grab lunch at a nearby beer hall, Altes Hackerhaus. The guys ordered their beer that was advertised for real men. The menu consisted of the typical Bavarian fare - pork and potatoes. Andrew had a braised pork with potato dumpling, Garret had schnitzel with fries and I had the crispy pork with potatoes (however, I'm not sure that is what I got). ...

    ... nowhere, mostly dressed in lederhosen and dirndls and they looked amazing. Some of the dresses are beautiful and we couldn’t get over the shoes which in many cases were obviously brand new and were quite high. Liz said a new dirndl could cost as much as 300 Euro.
