    ... little bottle of spirit and a shot glass! This place was awesome already. I had a couple of friends from work I was meeting here, so the first thing I did once I'd gotten into the wifi (yay) was touch base with them to get a gauge of what the plans were for tomorrow. The next thing I needed was food (wifi always trumps food).     As Matt said we started the day a bit earlier than we'd hoped, but thanks to some low key music, resting in the apartment proved to be enough (and maybe some help of espresso and a cold shower) to help get us through the day.

    ... The original tower burned down after heavy bombing in 1944 . a dedicated group had it rebuilt in 1951-1952. It now has a beer garden attached ..of course...
    At the mouth of the artificial stream The Eisbach... that runs through the English garden, there is a standing wave produced by the water pumping mechanism. Surfers attempt to surf on this wave for as long as they can. Wetsuit a necessity!!
