We travelled to Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin for a couple of days just to experience a bit more of central Wisconsin. I tell you, there are more silos and barns in this state than any other.
... in Effingham, IL to stay for the night but with temps in the mid 80's we found a campground just outside of Effingham....Camp Lakewood Campground....31.00 cash.....and stayed there so we could have electricity for AC. Had canned beef, pre-made mashed potatoes, peas & carrots for supper with red wine. DELICIOUS!!!
