      ... lock, we were not so lucky and had to wait as a barge locked through.The wait was long enough that we decided to drop anchor in the channel since the alternative was twirling round and round in small circles for an hour. Believe me, you do not want to go outside of the marked channel in the Tenn-Tom. It is shallow and filled with stumps and who knows what.       ... them a bit. I see jackets in some of the pics so it might be on the cool side. You can tell that the water is cleaner and calmer here....hope that trend continues. The winds have not been in their favor so all of today was motoring.

      The guys spent Monday night at a small cove off of the Tombigbee right past the third set of locks. They pulled anchor around 6:35am this morning and set off on the Tombigbee again.
