We continued our touring into Monroe City. According to the literature we have in our possession, their main claim is a church from 1897with medieval styling and stain glass windows. Well you couldn’t prove it by me, it was closed up tight. Guess we would have to hire it for a wedding or reunion in order to see it.

Next stop on our tour was Florida, MO. (So far ...

We went to Walmart and ended up purchasing a cheap phone and some minutes to use while we are in this area. The young man who helped us got us connected and everything, so now at least we have a phone, still no internet and Bob is having trouble with the satellite, so not sure what we can do about that.

... went. Bob said if we went in the direction of Versailles, he was going to be ******. Well we went straight instead. We headed out of town for I-70 which is only about 20 miles North of Sedalia. Once on 70 we headed east and in about 45 min we crossed the MO river and exited the interstate. We had arrived at Les Bourgeois Winery. We disembarked the bus and followed a very young man into a room full of very large steel containers. He explained the history of the label and how the wine ...
