We met Sue and walked back to the apartment, stopping for a great tapas dinner at a tiny little bar. Here we got to experience the real Barcelona way of life. The bar reminded us of the tv series "Cheers". The meat plate, mussels, olives, bread was all washed down with a half litre jug of Sangria. ... was mostly industrial and of no interest at all! The only thing that we salvaged from this trip was that we found the Barcelona Ice Bar. Tanya had read about it and had wanted to see it. We paid $20 to put our Eskimo gear on and go into the ice bar -17degrees! You were then expected to drink a cold drink in there......I don't think so!
