... After lunch, Sheila and I headed west to Iowa to donate the Prius and more importantly see our granddaughter Isabelle. On the way to Iowa, we decided to stop by our Kentucky lot to make sure it was still there!! We ended up stopping just outside of Nashville. Tomorrow, we will stop at the lot and then head to Iowa City.

Attached is a picture of me in my Hawaiian garb and the Prius.

Thanks everyone for a great day. . ...

A travel blog entry by eastallie on Dec 19, 2014

A helicopter was also used to place the footbridge over Crabtree Creek right upstream. Next, ...

... rediscover the beauty of seasonal changes on the east coast. Accordingly, the family has engaged in the "endless fall" of 2014... for a solid 6 weeks, the girls have gleefully leaped into leaf piles and we've all been awestruck by the brilliance stretching from northern NY to central NC. This continued with lovely walks through the woods in Chapel Hill.

You Can't Get There from Here

... got seats on the RDU-ORD flight, and was told that we’d have to get seats on the Frankfurt flight from Lufthansa. She tried online and couldn’t do it, so she called and was told that if you’re in any of the five lowest fare classes you can’t get seats until 23 hours before the departure time.

I woke up at about 3:30 a.m. and figured as long as I was up I’d get ...
