      ... are a little sore. But best of all, I feel totally recovered. I put my sore feet into an ice water bath for 10 minutes and they are happier...wonder how I'm going to do that in Spain.

      So what am I thinking about Spain? I'm thinking that the hostel in Puebla de Sanabria looks pretty nice. The hotels don't look that much nicer for lots more Euros. Also, reading good things about the hostel in aLaxe. So maybe my hotels will be limited ...

      ... Altogether there were about 16 of us gathered around the fire at various times. We talked, drank, ate snacks, drank and drank some more. There was wine, champagne, more wine and a few mixed drinks. We watched the ball drop in Times Square saw fireworks from around the world and talked some more.
