... the gate at JFK, waiting for my flight to Nice. My carry on suitcase is packed for my 10-day European journey abroad.

Amelia did not take my news very well. She moves back to school on Friday & she couldn't believe I was ditching her for Nice ~ she'll get over it! Her things are already in Macon in storage & Jeff can move her in, they'll do just fine! ...

We would defo see it ...

We tried over 60 different drinks from across the globe! Awesome. We also got a free bottle of coke at the end of the day to take home. Wow. Good final ...

... Honestly, although beautiful, it is hard to top the Russian and Italian churches. (I have never seen Notre Dame in France). "Old" Gdansk is very charming. Many amber merchants and it is said this is the best quality amber in the Baltic. I couldn't make any decisions (not sure if I even like amber) so opted for some hand painted stained glass angels. We did stop long enough to have lunch at a cafe and check emails. I thought I would be adventuresome and have a local dish ...

... sonatas played by two accomplished musicians. Check out the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library website for their schedule of free events and activities.

And a couple of weekends ago we rented bicycles at Piedmont Park (not free but only $6.00 per hour) and rode through the beautiful park on a mild summer's day. After our ride we walked around the Arts Festival (free) and had the tastiest popsicles ever by King Pops.
