I booked my flight through Southwest, so I'd get 2 free check-in bags. I was somewhat nervous that my bags would be overweight. When I got to the airport, my fears came true: both of my heck-in bags were over the weight limit! They were 56 and 58 lbs... (max limit = 50 lbs). So much for my meticulous packing!
