    Day 14

    First up today - off to Target to get some shorts - didn't think walking around a city on another hot day in jeans was a good idea. - and yes there was room to pack them in the bike bags.

    Rode into town and parked at the Music Centre - a huge convention centre which had masses of people attending a conference.

    ... It was warm enough that I put my bathing suit on and headed to the pool to take a quick dip. There wasn’t much of a crowd there but a few diehards were sunning themselves. I did what I could to stay in the shade. After being sufficiently cooled, I headed back home to do some more writing.

    Before I did, though, I rinsed my stuff out in the hose to get the chlorine out. That gave me the idea to let Harley play in the water a bit to cool himself ...

    ... has been music not food, mostly what we have ordered would be considered a snack although it was more than enough for us. However, there were so many American diners in the restaurant eating full portions across 3 courses and that was just lunch, fully anticipating eating a full meal later in the evening - we tried not to stare but just couldn't believe how much people were getting through!
