... Broadway Street in Nashville. Hopefully we'll stumble on some great country music. Who knows, maybe even some famous bands…it could happen.

This is our last day in Nashville before heading home tomorrow morning. Sometimes it feels like we've been on the road forever and sometimes it seems that first Sazerac I had in New Orleans was just yesterday. Either way its been quite a journey.

It is now owned by the Jack Daniels Distillery and is actually run by Jack's great grand niece, Lynne Tolley, although she never met Jack as he died back in 1911, aged 61. Lynne took over running the restaurant when Miss Mary Bobo herself died in 1983 aged 102. Good knock that ! We, along with a number of others waited for the bell to ring and be called up for lunch by our hostess. Ding-a-feckin-ling - there it is ! ...

... itself. I didn't realise what a big place for music and musicians Nashville is! the music scene here is huge! you can pretty much see or hear live music at all times of the day! and pretty much for free! even in the hostel there are always musicians around playing various instruments and singing! it's such a great atmosphere there! everyone joins in, and it's not all serious either! there have been some hilarious moments with musicians making up ...
