It has the bare minimum I like to have when I stay in a hotel. Small work out room, some breakfast options. It was a convenient location, close to the college.

Yesterday we traveled from Mississippi and across Louisiana almost to Texas -- it was a fairly long drive, but Sassy and Odie were good travelers. In fact, they spent (as always) the whole time driving in their carriers -- we open them up, but they just stay inside and look out at us. Oh well . . . . . ...

We also danced his first waltz, which he took in stride, too (ok, bad pun). We happily danced every song until the night ended at around midnight. We took a selfie with Randy’s 75 year old friend—his first ever selfie, he said!
... saw live crabs in there, and saw the boiling pots and seasoning in the back of the restaurant where they make crawfish boils, crab boils, etc. Cool!
After that we bought Randy some Duck Dynasty PJ’s, which he adores, enjoyed yummy pralines (pecan candy), and watched the movie, Ray. It was a great movie, and the performance of the actress who played young Ray’s mother made me cry several times.
