    Monday Oct 20th We packed the car again early to head off to Westport, about 1.5 hrs drive in a SW direction between Ottawa and Kingston on Upper Rideau Canal. B n E's trailer is situated there along with various others on the grassy area next to the canal.     ... out there had been an explosion and everyone was evacuating the building! (Nothing to do with Rick and toast!).
    Friday we headed out of town and after a while on the freeway turned off onto Route 33 which was beautiful! Vineyards and along side Lake Ontario. Part of the road was a free ferry.     ... the lakes. One was a lake on top of a mountain and they still can't explain how it is there. We also saw the old school cinema there and went to see some plaques that our relatives are mentioned on. We had a nice Indian for dinner and laughed at reality tv.
