I tend to think of most towns in Ohio has being dominated by
factories but passed through two on the way, Lebanon and Wilmington, that had
very nice town centers with historic buildings, farmers markets taking place,

We traveled back and forth between Ohio River towns to find topo maps. From big box retailer to sports stores and eventually the public library, we struck out until we went into the C store within a wedge of our motel and there we found Delorme's Ohio. Now we can plot on a map what we've got in text form ...

... Kentucky roads and their attendant anxiety and fear does not seem to ease with time. Just seeing a coal truck on another narrow winding road is more than my fragile psyche can handle.
Scott tells me he is scared also. He tries all his court jester moves and comments, it does not help. He uses his, "you can rent a car anytime and follow me and I will ride to the finish for us both". Yeah, like I'm going to let that happen. Yeesh.
Ohio is only chosen because it's not ...
