and any material items would soon become boring. I have always much
preferred experiences to material things and I think it is too late to
turn back the clock now. Yet, in terms of livability Columbus is very
hard to beat in terms of raising a family.

~ Talia was afraid of the dogs at first. Now she calls them, "Ja-per and Lucy". She wants to see them right when we get home and always says good-bye to them before we leave.
~ How Talia wants to wear her pretty rain boots even though it's sunny out.
~ When we put up our Christmas stockings, Talia decided my boots needed to be hung up as well! I tried to explain that stockings weren't really shoes, but I'm sure she didn't understand.

... Scott's parents and then Micki Hammond, a girl I went to high school with bought her some more bath toys too which was so nice! Talia has been sleeping through the night great! Last night she slept from 9pm until 10am this morning!

Right now we are over at my mom's house. Scott and my dad our moving their swingset to our house. Talia is playing with the twins. She watched them have a bath and then they all had lunch ...

Bon voila nous avons fait pas mal de route et sommes installes a Columbus, Ohio dans un Days Inn. Nous sommes partis de Montreal a 7h45 pour arriver ici vers 22h45. Total environ 1150km. Les enfants ont tres bien supporte le voyage. Nous nous dirigeons demain pour Oklahoma City.

... too looking at the map that we're pretty much in line with Baltimore to the east of here, which looks to be a good day's drive (probably as far as we came yesterday from Nashville to Grove City), so I'm of half a mind to head that way instead. Hmmm, decisions!!

Anne and Jeff, (Scott's parents) are coming down on Sunday to get the dogs and visit with us so that will be fun! We have Halloween outfits for the dogs even though we won't be here for Halloween. Everyone make sure that Anne and Jeff dress them up so they look pretty for all the Trick ...

... 9th at 4:30pm. Scott and I both plan on working through October 7th so that we have as much time as we can with the children when we get back home. Luckily OSU has been great with both Scott and I in regards to us taking time off.

Scott flew in from Boston where he had an afternoon work meeting.

The kids and I drove to Columbus after school. We went through Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia (again), and finally to Ohio.

We saw a replica of Columbus's Santa Maria on the river in town.

Got up early to catch our plane back the the States. We had a layover in Boston, which got delayed for weather. The flight back was uneventful. Dad picked us up at the airport and we filled him in on all of our trip adventures. We were really tired and jet-lagged when we got back to Ohio, so it was an early night.
What a great trip!
