... gut! Derek had two bratwurst, Munich and Rattlesnake/Rabbit with spaetzle, Larry had a bratwurst with potato salad and I had a turkey reuben with coleslaw and spaetzle. We got home about 4:00. It was great to be home but the unpacking, pile of mail and newspapers, 21 phone messages and 284 emails kept us busy for a while. It is great to be home!

Scott and I are now safely ensconced in the delightful rolling hills of Virginia, but prior to arriving here we stayed overnight in Columbus, Ohio for a quick stop at Country Living Magazine's "Country Living Fair", which I've enjoyed attending several times. ... Scott and I are very hopeful that she will be able to learn, grow, and feel safe there. It will take much time and patience though. I hope her teachers and the staff at her school can invest the time and the effort with her there so that she can be successful.
Talia just got home from preschool and we asked her about her day. She said, "I met a new friend today and she made me feel safe." Sounds like a good start to me! We will keep you posted.
