... foreign lands together. It’s gonna be tough, but the good kind of tough! That leads to growth as a human being.

I feel that over the last few weeks the trip is more real and tangible to me than ever before . We are beginning to take real steps towards actually leaving our native country and traveling abroad, that is so very exciting and at the same time so very frighting!

Wednesday, May 7,2014, Tony and I went to have lunch on the West Side near Vandy on Music Row. We found a great place to park on the street for FREE, it was a few blocks away but its such a lovely day..we opted to walk..and the walk was Nice..

Feeling like we are in the South y'all

... and is giving a speech at a local high school. Our room was a neat, modern style suite. We were relieved to find a HS and it's athletic fields adjoining the hotel property and so we had plenty of nice safe space to walk the dogs. They even got a few short off leash moments on a baseball field :) it was fun to see Gracie stretch out and run a bit. The night was quiet and the next day was sunny and bright- ready for more miles ...

... you get the chance - GO. Even if you don't particularly like country music.. GO. Yeah it's folksy, kinda kitschy, and there is a whiff of themepark, but there is a sense of history to the place, the performers are all extremely talented and are clearly having a ball. The show is a smorgasbord of country music. Each act does a set of 2 songs and the pacing is brisk. There was fiddle playing, square dancing, legends, and new acts. My personal favorite was ...
