... was used as a field hospital over a six month period. A very informative tour, complete with blood stains on the floors. Did a quick sprint around the Confederate cemetery before the rain. Strange fact - during the war Tennessee was confederate while Nashville was Union or Federal as they call it here. It was a very worthwhile visit. ... people yelling back at their waiters and just generally it was like being back at camp with all the kids again. They even make hats for everyone with abusive comments on them. ... Ryan. I recommend lone survivor for historic reasons, even though the language and violence is BAD. I cried to see what these soldiers went through. I am guessing it was even worse in reality. We are well fed and when we get to Detroit we have to collect our luggage, go through two immigration stations! and go back through TSA security with all our stuff. No problems but time consuming.
