... and more packing. The last few were spent unpacking. But, we did manage to squeeze in some fun--Grand Ole Opry with Charlie Daniels and a host of other groups, Cheekwood Botanical Garden, Belle Meade Plantation, and a fishing outing with Nashville Charters. Oh! I can't forget the trip to the American Pickers store.

We went to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. It was huge. Spent a few hours there. Can't believe how much we are getting into country music - we've even made a playlist!

We went to a few honky tonks for drinks and then dinner. Much busier today (being a Friday). We had tickets in the evening to the Grand Ole Opry, a long running live radio show featuring country artists on Friday and Saturday ...

... between a stable and a ski chalet. The fog covered the majority of the vineyard (and it was dark) so we did not get a very good view of the grounds but the main barn, which housed the tasting room, shop and outdoor patio was impressive. To the left of the restrooms the path winds up hill a little bit with some steps where you will find the cannons and monuments. It is a very nice park with great over view of Franklin.
