For the price I would recommend the stay. It is an older Inn but very hospitable and clean.

... in public, any teacher had the right to go up and lay down the law, and the parents would have to accept it. It's VERY frustrating when "Hey Buddy, we maybe should try something else, hey?" is OBVIOUSLY NOT the way to stop Buddy smashing the iPad and running into all the visitors and setting off any other wild kids in the pack. So the CMHoF was great because I flew around the sites, took all the pictures I wanted, had a little go on the interactives, and ...

... that the guys had picked up on their travels around the US. It was certainly something different to go and see.

After that we headed over to Bridgestone Arena to catch the Ice Hockey. I have never been subjected to a metal detector test before getting in to see a game - but I guess it is a sign of the times here in the US. It really didn't slow us down, or inconvenience us at all.

Left Asheville dyer fannying around for ages trying to get our way into the Billiton estate, Americas largest private mansion with 250 rooms designed in a French chateau style sat upon a mount just outside of town. We drove around the estates grounds where people have built their own mansions but nothing on the scale of the Billiton. After spending about an hour trying to break our way in the back way and failing we tried the front gate but the greedy ...

... a lot of fun. We got back to Barrett's around 6:30 and showered and got dressed to go out early since Barrett was gonna take us to bar that was known as one of the better live music spots in Nashville. There was a writers round going on so the musicians were actually all playing original music and it was amazing. We got some more local beers and dinner before Barrett dropped us off in an another live music area before she headed home. We proceeded to do ...

More sausage, biscuits and gravy - then off to do some sightseeing and antiquing around Nashville. We tried to visit a botanical gardens, but the promised 100,000 tulips were still about a week and a half from showing any color. Darn polar express, global warming winter - Oh well! Then we tried to take in the big flea market at state fairgrounds. The gates were all locked! It took us a while ...
