... 59 per person to enter!!! So we sacked that off and made our way to the blue ridge parkway road hoping to drive it towards Nashville partly. Stopped at mount pisgah and decided to do the 1.5 mile steep climb in flip flops through pure laziness of can't be bothered to change shoes. Climbed to the top just as heavy grey clouds shrouded the entire view which is supposed to be stunning looking down towards South Carolina and the smoky mountains. We sat up there for ...

We woke-up before the ********** of dawn and caught a flight to LAX and connected to Nashville. What a nice city! Much of the downtown has under gone a lot of redevelopment - new sky scrapers, convention center, music venues and museums everywhere. Great to see a city reborn. ... some of the bigger guys have impressive buildings. And, Reba as you will see...

Taylor Swift gave $4 Million dollars for the additional space they are adding to the Museum which will double the size. Pretty nice for such a young gal.

We learned that Minnie Pearl's real name is actually Sarah Cannon and she donated money to a Cancer Research Hospital named for her as Sarah Cannon not Minnie Pearl.

    Have a great day...

Monte took me to the airport for my flight to LA where I was to meet up with Caren. We planned to meet at the baggage claim which was where all Southwest flights got their luggage. I arrived about an hour before Caren did, so I entertained myself until she got there.

We headed to the international terminal and hung out in the Priority Lounge until our flight at 10:30 p.m.. Our 12.5 hour flight on Air New ...
