Some airports have some mall stores (Philadelphia gets it) or at least a scenic area just to take a stroll. Nope, LaGuardia just has their ****** food courts, news stands, and uncomfortable chairs. Just over the border in Vermont, we passed through the quiet little village of Bennington. Specialty cafes, vintage shops, and beautiful churches should be on the brochure for this town. Huge trees shaded the sidewalks that were dotted with flower-filled urns. It personified a New England village.

Off to buy a few more herbs and have lunch before relaxing the rest of the day. Mary has gone to a meeting tonight, Joe is at his weekly poker game, and we are preparing to get back on the road tomorrow. This has been a lovely interlude.
