    ... and then go pay in an awkward corner. AND WHERE IS THE KETCHUP? There was also nowhere to walk around. Some airports have some mall stores (Philadelphia gets it) or at least a scenic area just to take a stroll. Nope, LaGuardia just has their ****** food courts, news stands, and uncomfortable chairs. Ugh I hate this airport.

    Just over the border in Vermont, we passed through the quiet little village of Bennington. Specialty cafes, vintage shops, and beautiful churches should be on the brochure for this town.     ... and Joerg's visit was so much fun and we were able to see so much. I loved the Terra Cotta Warriors, and the Yangtze cruise. Power shopping with my niece Kathleen and seeing her natural bargaining abilities was fantastic.

    ... the development are comparable! Back to reality, and we watched as Mary transformed a pile of cinder blocks into an herb and flower garden. Off to buy a few more herbs and have lunch before relaxing the rest of the day. Mary has gone to a meeting tonight, Joe is at his weekly poker game, and we are preparing to get back on the road tomorrow. This has been a lovely interlude.

    ... the owner, was also very nice, despite the fact that he got locked aboard The Taj on day when he moved the Bus from one storage area to another (the dead bolt lock was loose and ended up locking him inside for about a half hour. We got the funniest voicemail from Charlie as he begged us to call him back and tell him how to get out of the Bus. Probably wasn't funny for Charlie at the time. If we ever need a place to ...
