      ... Great Smokey Mountains so we left our car parked near Knoxville and piled in together again

      The scenery here was breathtaking and we drove a partial loop until we stopped in an open field for a picnic lunch. Unfortunately we had a long drive ahead to our next destination so Robbie drove us back to the car and we headed off.

      We really loved this part of Tennessee, my only regret is not being hungry enough to stop at one of the many roadside ...

      SUNDAY 7/20-We left Bowling Green and it was still overcast. We decided it is time to head home and save the east coast for next year. After being in the dry humid less west we are trying to acclimate to all this dampness and rain. This was going to be a longer trip as we are going to loose an hour for the last time when we return to Eastern Time!!

      It was a late start out of Langley AFB because we had to load the truck, van, and car for the trip. Then we had to check out of temporary lodging and clear housing. It was almost 10:30 when we got on the interstate and headed west.

      We made it to Knoxville around 7 PM. There was a couple of spots of traffic and a couple of rain showers, but all in all, it was a pretty uneventful day. Kegan ...

      ... we had to stop coz it was raining so hard was so hard we couldn't see where we were going We stopped at this little hotel and they gave us free coffee and let us use the restroom, they were so lovely. Off to get something to eat then on to Nashville tomorrow baby!!! Love and miss you all loads ...

      The RV left Blythewood, SC with hound dog, Braddock, comfy in the co-pilot's seat and 5 hours later, we arrived at our beautiful Walmart campground. Check out that sunset...just beautiful!
