... provided communications back to Kathy who could then relay information to the mechanics. Kathy and I stayed with the bikes for security. Elizabeth and Janet had gone off in search of a hotel. The rooms were booked at many places and were very expensive but we Did finally find 3 affordable rooms. We were hot and tired at the end of the day, but I was grateful to be safe and sound in a town where services could be sought out.

After the tour we moved on to Lafayette where we had dinner at a place called Zea, which served ridiculously big sized portions of very nice food - chicken and ribs, Yum. Sherry, the good person that she is, tried explaining the math, but they insisted. $14. Ok. Thanks. We like Louisiana math but I don't think I should try using it at work! ;-) Early night tonight. Long road trip tomorrow, will be gone by daybreak. Next stop, Roswell, New Mexico! Will be on the lookout for aliens!!! Thanks for ...
