    ... two times. Before it got put into the show, I caught the trick exactly five times...and not all in one day...a couple here and a couple there. But, Daniel wanted it in the show.     ... prior to beginning work so I haven’t yet had a lot of time to explore. I am hoping the weather will be favorable enough during my limited free time. It is a beautiful area and I am eager to discover as much of it as I can. My challenge will lie in the fact that July is the rainy season and we are to have a very heavy work schedule here. If I could put one wish in the cosmic suggestion box it would be that any spare time I have be rain free.

    ... just aren't worth a few extra minutes of sleep. The "one hour" drive out to the mountains turned out to be two hours longer than stated in the shore excursion brochure, but it was still a lovely journey with rice patties in the lower altitudes and giant pine trees the higher up we got.     ... trolley bus to Ogizawa, then a bus to Omachi train station and a final train to Matsumoto.
