        ... were just not able to do while camping. I was looking forward to running again too, again this is difficult on the road due to no showers, elevations, climate etc. Nice to chill out for a bit before we hit the craziness that is South America, I'm not concerned but will be a culture shock... can't ...

        ... said we could buy beans. I tried the rest of the evening to give the money back to her, but she would have none of it.

        We went with them to a restaurant at Texas A&M in College Station, and had a delightful meal. As we drove back to the campground we both enjoyed the peace and quiet. I guess you have the patience and stamina to deal with active children when you are much younger than we are.

        Left Austin about 11:30am, stopped by Texas Honey Ham for a yummy club sandwich to eat on the road. Nice drive to Palestine, despite the slight "detour" we took through Tyler. Arrived at our cousins' house, where there was a one-year-old birthday going on. Wow, one-year-olds certainly have bigger parties than I remember! There were many family there, including Joe and Morgan from Shreveport with their new baby ...

        ... ready to ride by 7:45 AM. We then have around 90 miles to ride to Tyler for an event at 3:00 PM at the Broadway Square Mall. Since the event is at 3:00 PM and we have the radio station in the AM we will not be able to ride the entire 90 miles - at least not on our bikes. We will each have an honoree that we will be riding for, most of whom will be at the event in Tyler. At the event they will have information available about blood, tissue and ...
