This is Basil's friend he had met while working at The White Barn Inn in Kennebunkport, Maine. We originally had planned to meet him for a beer and then head out for south Dakota. Raul's stories, 14 beers, 8 Jaeger shots and walleye fingers (state fish) later we decided to stay the night. It was a ...

There is no clanking from wheels on metal and old wood creaking as the roller coaster makes it assent. No. An airplane just starts slowly rising and suddenly you feel yourself being lifted, and then you are above building and clouds and you are in the sky... It is really quite something.
The flight lasted for maybe an hour and a half, and was really a great start to my trip.

Although I was obliged to escort Pawlenty all the way to the toilet! Our key roles were to protect certain Principals from physical harm and preserve their PR interests. ... pretty tired but still took an hour to fall to sleep. Should be interesting tomorrow. The MOA was pretty impressive in size and breadth of stores available. The amusement park in the middle was very impressive with a lot of rides that the kids could enjoy. You could definitely spend several days there and still not see all of the stores. Well worth the visit. Time to get some rest for the ride to Des Moines tomorrow.
