    ... that goes along with being in a seat in an inclosed space that isn't given by a roller coaster. There is no clanking from wheels on metal and old wood creaking as the roller coaster makes it assent. No. An airplane just starts slowly rising and suddenly you feel yourself being lifted, and then you are above building and clouds and you are in the sky... It is really quite something.
    The flight lasted for maybe an hour and a half, and was really a great start to my trip.

    ... were watching the giant sea turtles and sharks swim above us in a tunnel! The turtles were truly amazing. One of our other favorite sea creatures were seahorses!! This aquarium had many different kind from large to the size of an ant! So cool!! Before the aquarium we had lunch at a place we had seen on The Food Network called The 5-8 Club.     ... gotten even worse. I'm imagining the most terrible possibilities: bowel obstruction, pelvic inflammatory disease, cancer, my trip cancelled. I agonize over whether to call the doctor--I only have a few days to get whatever it is resolved. Then, a silver lining: a bloody spot in my underwear. Apparently, my body has gone to great lengths to start my period early so I don't have to be messing with it on the island. Thank you, body. Now if you could just stop the back pain....

    ... is). We left the cups at home. All we used the pot for was to boil water to put into our Mountain House dinners. The cookset was light and compact (you store everything in the pot). We brought a pot holder, but didn’t need it.

    Stove: MSR Whisperlite Internationale. Worked great. 11.5 ounces.
