... things I see are not the icons, but some fresco's of saints with blotted out eyes that line a corridor. What a peculiar damage; it is not iconoclastic, otherwise much more would have been damaged.

When I went down to the port the next morning, they told me it wasn't running because of bad weather... so I had a frustrating day waiting around. Extra frustrating because Tim texted me to say their tennis was cancelled because of the bad weather and we were missing Scrabble-time!
