    ... painting of the countryside and she had two pictures that I was very impressed with they were just looking into a dark space, they were so well done.












    After looking in a few different shops we decided to go into a bakery for a hot chocolate, it was very full and while Russ was in the queue I managed to get a table that sat four.

    ... had been so pretty and the sun had been shinning (although it isn't warm on the coast) all of the time. We had no need to be down hearted about leaving Cali though as the Oregon coast turned out to be even more stunning, had just as much sun, and it didn't get the fogs that Northern California did, so we could see everything.     ... we got on our train and settled down we were quickly informed that we would be making an unorganised stop so that our train could get a new engine, which would then make us even later! We eventually made it to San Fran at midnight, nightmare is not the word. Once we had got to our accommodation it was nearly 2am and nobody answered the door.
