Coast Bellevue Hotel

... city, we just had one nite here as a base jump hotel with plans to drive out by 8am to Copan Ruins and then later over to Lake Yojoa. We went to our hotel quick rest and shower, then went walking about, saw some casinos, shops and a mall was nearby.. we had Tex Mex at a place a read in my guide book called El Formito that was pretty solid. I had a Yucatan dish special that was actually really really good sauce. Tomorrow will get better, to be continued.

Coffee has got to be one of the most value-added products. The raw beans - in most cases, grown in plantations and harvested by peasants who are paid a pittance - are transformed into a high-value product through a long supply chain. ... into his busy schedule, so we visited Nordstroms, Macy's and various other stores....no luck. Then we found a place to eat. We stumbled across Rock Bottom, a brew pub in downtown Seattle. I ate too much. I also tried a chocolate flavored beer, that required me to purchase a 64 oz bottle to go. I looked a bit silly carrying it back to the hotel. ... and sidewalks still under the city - very interesting!! Tonight we are going back up the Space Needle for the night view - hopefully the weather holds off so we can actually see something. Not sure what the internet access will be like in San Francisco so if you don't hear from us just assume we are having a good time :)

Well, the ceremony was beautiful and very well executed. The reception was very different from those I've been to on the East Coast, but great nonetheless. I hope Nate and Courtney are having fun in Tahoe right now! On the Second, Mom, Dad, Carol, Bridget and I went to Mt. Rainier and hiked up to 7,200 feet and were crawling on glaciers. It was a fabulous way to hang out with my family the day before I left for Greece!! EEK!!
