    Made it as far as Warrenton, Missouri on day 2. As you can see by the picture, Braddock has become a lapdog. Nice weather and mostly decent roads so far. Tried a short cut in Western Kentucky, though, where the two-lane highway had bumps and dips and a very narrow bridge over the Mississippi River. Probably won't do that one again. Nebraska ...

    ... of a lifetime...I'm so glad we did this. I hope we have a chance to do this again next year with the show. But for now, it's good to be winding down.

    Anyway, onto our day...Dianna picked us up and drove us down the street to the elementary school that was anxiously awaiting a clown visit at 9am. Their gymnasium was packed to the brim and John barely had a voice afterwards, but the response was deafening (in a good way, thankfully)!

    ... to drive us around on Monday because she had just broken her foot. She had another contact get in touch with us and he said to email him back letting him know where to pick us up. We did, but then never heard back from him. At 9:30pm Sunday night, we finally got a hold of him and realized that the email we had for him was his work email and he didn't have access to it all weekend. Yeesh...we're lucky we connected at all today! Haha...

    ... washing wet clothes and drying leathers. We intend to get up early tomorrow morning to beat the rain that is supposed to be in Indianapolis at 1pm. We both hope to be at our homes by tomorrow evening. Debbie will be adding some of her pictures to the blog from her home.
