Saturday we spent exploring the area around Mark Twain Lake. We started at the Visitor's Center attached to Clarence Cannon Dam. There is a nice viewing area where you can overlook the dam and view some of the lake. It is a very large lake, or at least seems so. Tried a short cut in Western Kentucky, though, where the two-lane highway had bumps and dips and a very narrow bridge over the Mississippi River. Probably won't do that one again. Nebraska ...

... it just all culminated into me feeling grumpy and impatient, but not being able to show signs of that during work. We had a lovely sponsor contact driving us around today and the last thing I wanted her to think was that she was causing me to feel this way. But yeah, I felt weary and I couldn't keep my focus on anything for longer than 10 seconds.

And I just wanted to go back to bed...now imagine how John's feeling. Hah!
