... He said, "Pat owns this and all the other hotels in the Noble Group." So suddenly, I'm hoping Pat Colee is my long lost Uncle!!! Make that long lost RICH Uncle! May never know, but I'll leave him some of my "Dave Colee" golf tees and my address in case he makes it to Bloomington, IL. Now, that's a small world.

We walked about 5-6 blocks to a placed called Conch Republic Seafood. I was skeptical at ...

... of England, KeyWest is an artist enclave and this is a great place to by an original artwork. You can do a day trip out of Miami but you will miss the wild nightlife and the ambiance whereby almost "anything goes". However, staying in Keywest is very expensive with a good B&B as the most reasonable option. Eat a burger in a real USA diner = ...

We had pre booked dinner this evening on the recommendation of the guest house at a little place called 'Cafe Sole' - the food was superb, gorgeous fish locally caught, and a great atmosphere. I ate the Crab Cake starter, and the unbelievable Hogfish snapper for main course. It was pricey, but it was worth it.

... bouncing to a landing, we made our way to the dock and signed up for this 28 mile, 2-hour jet ski tour. We're not normally big fans of these Indy E noise makers but given that we were buzzing by cruise ships and not wildlife, it seemed to be an OK thing to do.

Let the drinkers own the pub crawl on Duval St and explore the rest of Key West and you'll have a great time- not Margaritaville but pretty close.

... other birds above, Again, we were pretty much alone until the ferry from Key West arrived, at which time we needed to dry off and head back to the plane for the flight back.

Back in town, we visited the monument marking the southernmost point of the US, which is just 90 miles from Cuba. Key West is our half-way point on this journey, so we will be officially heading home tomorrow, albeit in a roundabout manner. ...
