      ... welcomed FREE Canapés and FREE drinks (3 only) we had one just in case we get rumbled haha.. We then went for tea in the English bar and restaurant (I know before you say anything.. Tom wanted to have steak, he heard its a must have here) so we had food and drinks which was lovely.       Prettiest place we stayed at - tie between Aix-Les-Bains and Alpe d'Huez

      Most annoying experience - very, very ordinary service in a number of shops and restaurants especially in Paris. This hasn't improved. I am certain some of these guys believe they are doing the customer a favour to actually serve you.
