An hour later the awning was complete with fairy lights, table - with table cloth, candles etc. We then sat very proudly in the awning as the sun set and people walked by and admired our lighting- thanks Kala! We left Camping Ampersee at 9:00 and headed down the Autobahn into Munich, along with every other car in Germany!! Yes of course there were some more roadworks just to slow things down a little more. Then to finally put the nail in the coffin of the myth of German efficiency the two major Autobahns that we need to drive on are linked by using a central highway through the metropolis of Munich. Today we took a trip up from 262m above sea level (Bolzano) to 1220m above via cable car. The photos unfortunately do not do the views justice. ... rocks go for miles and miles. The ski lifts go right up over the rocks and are so high off the ground, the ride would not be for the faint of heart. The rocks are a white and light brown color with little to no vegetation on most of them. From below the jagged rocks look razer sharp so I can't believe what they would look like up close.

It was quite cold at the summit with another ski lift going even higher to the tip top ...
