My phone then chimes at 3am delivering a voicemail message--I listen to it and it’s from Go Alpine asking me to call to confirm my pick up. ... why our hotel was called the Cliffside Inn. We saw the cliffs that much of the town is known for. They were complete shear cliffs - no snow on them, obviously and very much called our attention to questions like, "do people rock climb here?" ... that is when my next adventure began. I got my first bag fairly soon and then waited . . .and waited . . .until everyone else had claimed their bags and left the area! It was clear there was no more luggage to come, so I had to go to the baggage services desk to place a missing bag claim. They looked up my bag’s tracking number and told me my bag had gone to Aspen!
