... reading areas. If you can judge a town by its library then Steamboast Springs, Colorado is a first rate place to live (at least in the summer unless you ski). We even talked about renting here in the furure. After visiting the library we walked the main drag in town. Checked out several stores including F.M. Light and Sons. This is a true Western store specializing in fancy boots. Rows and rows of boots. If I could bend, I might buy a pair! We did purchase 2 shirts for me ...

... near the town of Steamboat Springs, a very expensive campground centred around seven natural hot springs which were ‘clothing optional’ after 9pm. Yes, Graeme had brought us to a naked hot springs.

Apparently, our camping space, sat on its own little island accessed by a covered bridge that was basically a little log cabin in itself, cost several hundred dollars alone. ...

... of water and rested a bit. Went back up and did Why Not - it was a favorite. The slopes were a bit crowded but not too bad. Kelly did a couple more blues, and then met me at the condo. We went to the Mountain Market for a few provisions, and then back to put them away. Interesting note about the Mountain Market - the food and the alcohol were in the same market, but separate, and you had to pay separately - must have strange alcohol laws ...

... It was their second last day, they are on a 3 month trip across the US and Canada until the end of Feb and today was by far their most favourite day of travelling so far. It's nice to see other people experience what I have in the past 2 trips to Steamboat. They also want to come back, it is so addictive to ride in such fluffy powder.
