        ... it! Sunday morning, some of us had a swim in the Med., we tried the delicious coffee and off again, this time up through the Alps, found a hotel opened (usually no services are opened on Sunday, the day of rest!) stopped and had the BEST pasta I've had all holiday!         ... We also had lunch outside on the campo of the island.
        We made our way back to the docks and took a boat back to Murano. By this time many people were leaving to either go to Burano or back to Venice so it was much less crowded (ha!).         ... along the waterfront and then attempted to forge our way back to the Cannareggio district. We managed to get lost repeatedly and ended up walking back towards the Rialto since this was at least a signposted route! Ha!
        Finally, back alongside the Grand Canal, we found a snack and sat by the canal avoiding the wash from passing vaporetto. Tiredness set in some time ago - more walking than we'd done in ages, so it was back to the hotel, maintenance, blog and sleep ...
