Venice was amongst many reasons for my trip across the EU. I have spent too much time traveling further and further a field, ignoring the beauty and culture on the door step. Looking back on my time in Venice, I wish I pulled my finger out and took my camera rather than my iPhone but I fear photos would never do Venice justice regardless.

... walking and eventually ended up at a nice restaurant where we treated ourselves to another "date" meal (with there only being two of us on the trip we have been on a lot of dates). We enjoyed some delicious pasta and pizza and of course had some agua, with gas of course, and headed back to the train station. Understanding the Venetian rail system better this time around we flawlessly made our way to Bologna and then onto Florence. By the time we got into Florence it was ...

... we were able to see how these delicate masterpieces are created by the talented Venetians. After, we all took a ride on the famous Gondolas and experienced the Venice waterways in a much more beautiful (and traditionally romantic) way, viewing the famous Rialto Bridge along the ride. Our last Italian pizza ended the evening as we headed to sleep, ready to travel to Salzburg early the next morning! Goodnight and sweet dreams! ...
