      ... headed off to San Marco Square to purchase our ferry tickets to the airport. Sounds cool to catch a boat to the airport. Not sure I'm going to enjoy the 10 min walk at the other end however. Anyway that's tomorrows problem.

      ... when it’s hot! After the beer we decided to do the touristy thing and go for a Gondola ride. It was very, very expensive at 80 Euros for 30 minutes but we felt we had to do it to make the most of our Venetian experience. The ride was lovely, we went down many quiet canals and went past the house that Marco Polo lived in.

      For dinner that evening, we went down to Riva Ca di Dio and enjoyed pizza by the water front and more Gelato afterwards ...

      ... this place was...if there were theme music it would be "Welcome to the Jungle!" Once we got our bearings we started to make our way to our hotel. A little bit more research and we would have known to look up about 15ft on the sides of buildings, for the painted Italian street signs. The city was magnificent, small corridors and alleys.
