... south to Florida after all. This boat and I did well...& the captain admitted Maggie adapted well. Rhiannon, draws a lot of attention as she is a classic. For 2 passengers, very comfortable. ... I think they were either test flights or radar planes because they kept going up, circling and coming right back down. We got back to the car at around 430 and drove to a nearby campsite. It had gotten cold outside and we quickly took less than hot showers that left my teeth chattering. Chris thought I was being a wussy until he took his shower. Haha! We left very early and drove to the end of Cape Hatteras to catch our first ferry. It was a short ride, only about an hour long. It dropped us at the top of Ocracoke Island and then we drove across this island where we waited for the long ferry ride (about 3 hours) to the mainland. There is only one ferry running today.
