It was a fun evening and Les and Suzanne were great hosts. They are passionate about sailing and have been able to make some money doing what they love to do. How good is that?

Well, we are about through here in New Bern. We will pack up and head further north tomorrow, to the Outer Banks. We would definitely put this area on the list of places we will return to. A small but quaint town.

I got stuck in Jacksonville, NC from Tuesday morning at 8:30 till we left on Friday morning at 11:00. There are only 3 gates at this airport, very small. I was happy to see that we stayed in a nicer area and there were a lot stuff around the hotel. ...

... situations. There was no way Rhiannon could pass this guy so I told him we would follow at a distance and he wouldn't have to be concerned that we would do anything stupid.

The tug opened the Surf City bridge and squeezed the heavy barge through with a couple of feet to spare on either side. We tucked in close astern after clearing this move with the bridge tender and saw a long procession of southbound snow birders waiting ...
