... threatened Rain all day, but that kept it cool out - only one little rain burst for about 5 minutes. We made it to the 501 shelter, and met a family that was thru-hiking. Pretty large group, so I think it was 2 families. The shelter had a solar shower, but it was kinda cold, so I heated up water on my stove, and used my camel back to take a warm shower with :) . ... the best tasting ones ever, even after 7 years! There are about 7 miles worth of berry trees along this section......I stopped at almost everyone of them to eat :)!
