1230am about 5600 our mileage reads... So about 200 miles in about three hours. Not too bad, with one potty stop for Kody and the Bus Driver grabbed a snack and looked at the map. Sorry, I tried to get a pic... Too dark and too fast, even at 55 to capture the New York welcome sign. 115am at our stop for the night... Cracker Barrel 350 in Fish Kill, ...

Today we left Poughkeepsie for Philadelphia, via Milford, a historic town and in which the cemetery of which my Great, Great.....Grandfather General Daniel Brodhead is buried. The town of Milford was absolutely beautiful, soemthing I did not expect, with a very French influence. Many french bakeries and beautiful old homes. A visit to the old bookshop was rewarding as we found more books for our Nicholas and then on to the cemetery. ...

        ... is
nice. The scenery is very peaceful and it's black bear country so
we're on the lookout tonight with all our shades up. Only 8 sites in
the part where we're staying and only 3 occupied so we have a lot of
privacy. $20 a night, I'd stay here again and I'll look into more
parks like this along the way if we can find them as the amount of
shade around means the temperature is lower than elsewhere in the
        State.

Before we head out to the great beyond all on our own, we thought it would be a good idea to take a mini drive up to the Hermitage to visit my Dad and Cyndi. There were certainly some milestones during this quick over night trip. First, I sat on my perch as navigator in the rig for the first time. There were many other firsts - first time we filled up the fresh water tank, first time ...

After being pampered at Grandma's for five days, my dear cousin Kate picked me up and drove me to Albany. My mom and little brother, Coltn, picked me up and we went to Kerhonkson to my Uncle Brett's house. Geez, do I feel sorry for him. He had ten extra people staying with him and we ate all of his food and wrecked his house. Poor guy.

What fun, though! Family came from ...
