It's hard to believe that I've already been here for three weeks. The first week went by really slowly as I was taking all the new things in, but by the time the second week rolled by I started to feel at home: I am here and I'm planning to have a very good time. ... some friends of mine convinced me to make a blog. Essentially the same thing, but electronic and now other people can read it and live vicariously through me. This is something I've never done, but I'll give it a shot. Read my updates! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll cringe at whatever horrible mistakes I'll inevitably make in the coming weeks. And if I'm lucky, at some point I'll even make it home.
