      We drove into Jacksonville, NC to have breakfast this morning. We needed a Cracker Barrel fix! Their menu does not vary from place to place, nor from year to year, which is a good thing. If it ain't broke, don’t fix it. After stuffing ourselves, we drove back to Camp Lejeune and went to the PX and commissary. We were amazed at the size and quality of merchandise in the PX. ...

So, for grins, I pushed the on button on the keypad and it turned on and the jacks went down and leveled the coach.  Life is good!  Now, I just hope they go back up when we leave in three days. Our site is about 200 yards from the ocean.  The park has 42 sites with full hook-ups with 50 amp service, and most of them have a shelter over a picnic table.  Best yet, is the price is ...

      ... we are in the front of the ferry. We will have a nice view. We did too, only it was a view of where we had been instead of where we were going.
      Imagine our surprise when we found a real live yeti on board! (Or maybe it was the Grinche's father?? Some kind of a Dr. Seuss character??)

      ... it was really humid! The ocean was nice and warm (unlike the chilly Pacific) and Maddie kept me busy making castles and wave jumping. Up, down, up, down….it made me think of the two little ones at home, who I miss terribly.
