    ... women for free. That one worked out pretty well for us. The drinks aren't cheap, but at least you get some happy sauce with your view.

    We are out of here tomorrow, heading to Jordan. Dubai was a good intro to the middle east. It kind of reminded me of the last company I worked for. Lots of resources and potential in the hands of incapable and directionless management. As long as you're not at the bottom of the heap, life can be pretty good.

    The airport is relatively empty and quiet at 4:45am local time on this second day of Ramadan. I'm enjoying a cup of Seattle's Best coffee, black, and a rather large and gooey Cinnabon.
