The Prime Minister has 10 wives, 28 children and is a falconer! WTF??? Anyway I'm sitting here in my robe, in air conditioned comfort, looking out of my 10th floor window, after my luxurious bubble bath, about to get dressed and head to the club lounge to eat canapés and drink champagne. I can tell you now that it is NOT cheap in this country. In the mall we paid AUD $7 for a small can of Pepsi and AUD $9 for a latte. At that price ...

... too. His son went to USD. He was an architect in the 90's and 00's here. How exciting that would be. They really have different styles of buildings here. Each one wants to be bigger or better than any other. He retired and now paints. His studio is in the old section of town. I do not think he had many customers because of the holiday, so we chatted for quite some time. Very talented guy. I went to the Dubai Museum. I loved the goat ...

... felt like they were trying to show off how many sharks and large sting rays they could fit into what would feel like a bathtub! We also saw the world tallest building the Burj Khalifa and spent a long time in the hot sunshine trying to fit it into a photo! When we arrived back at the hotel we were shattered, so went up to our room for a quick nap at 6pm before dinner....we woke up at 6am... opps we must have needed a very long sleep! On Friday we spent a lovely morning ...
