After heeding the suggestion of a British-born owner of a gift shop in Praia de Luz, yesterday we headed for the hills, or the Serra de Monchique to be precise in order to find the alternative Portugal. ... As we entered the very narrow entrance the gennaker started to unfurl again and so we decided to drop it. As we did a gust came and the sail went back into the sea. Dawson managed to manoevre the boat without hitting anything as we hurled the anaconda, as we have christened her, back onto the deck.

On on one hand I am sorry it's finished but then I am really looking forward to coming home, if only for a short while.
