A long journey to Porto Seguro
... on!
That was the longerst journey of my life. 21h on a bus. I left Rio on Wednesday at 9pm,and arrived in Porto Seguro at 6pm on Thursday. I thought it was going to be harder, but wasn't that bad. We stopped every 4 hours on service areas,and I managed to sleep most of the time. On the last two hostels there was always someone snorting on my room...so I needed some sleep!

Rain and more rain
We just stayed over in Itaunas for one night, once you have seen the dunes you have seen it all. The rain started that night and lucky for us we found a pousada (a b&b) costing the same as the camping. So the next day we went to Arraial d'Ajuda hoping that the more north we go the less rain we'll get, but the weather just followed us. What an awesome town, even in the rain it was great. Of course we didn't camp again but ...
FROM RIO TO SALVADOR
... delivery bike purporting to come from ******* Pizza Delivery Services. We didn’t get a photo as I was too busy making the sign at him. Not a mile further on a huge billboard extolled the virtues of Brazi’ls famous soft drink called Babypiss. Imagine the perfect Friday night in Rio is to curl up in front of the telly have a pizza delivered by ******* and wash it all down with Babypiss.

Carneval in Porto Seguro
How to say, I moved to here for Carneval to see girls dressed up in small costums, and drummers going around ... But it was like a Techno party in Europe ... :-(
