          ... We decided to hold off on that until we cooled down a bit and get some food in us. No worries though, about a half hour later we were in the large hot spring and just enjoying the view and borderline scalding water. We stayed in there and watched the daylight diminish, storm clouds (that were far away) light up the sky, and then the bats flying around us devouring every (hopefully) bug they could.   Cheers! ...

          ... lots of fuses, so for now I'm just going to see if this repeats. I may have to install the spare fuel pump that I brought along. The drive from Bend to Burns was a bit tense due to the fuel pump issues. This is also a very boring 130 mile grind through the "badlands" of central Oregon. Once in Burns we settled into our home for the night to unwind and relax. We'll need to rest up for tomorrow's drive through the desert. Winnemucca here we come! ...
