As a cat prowled by Logan couldn't resist giving chase, as he came to the end of his lead his collar snapped! I told him to 'leave it' and he stopped, he's so well trained! We slept late, woke up and ...

We stayed here cos it was close to Istanbul where we had to return the car. This was real suburbia - no tourists, and we stayed in a 4 star hotel - we were told there were only 2 hotels fit to stay in in this huge city. eating out was different as it was packed with ...

      Our crazy drive to Iznik

... on the map, and every one of these tiny roads was lined in green, indicating that the route is particularly scenic, and we've driven everything else so far with no troubles, so how bad could it be?

... Well, it took us five and a half hours to reach Iznik from Ankara - at least one extra hour that we wouldn't have spent if we'd gone by the big road - and most of that was on tiny, poorly paved, winding, guard-rail-less mountain paths. Don't get me wrong, it ...
