Still driving on Interstate at this point. Plan to start taking some back roads soon. Camping experience at this KOA was decent. Nice private spot with no other tent campers.

Some highlights:

-Arrived just before night fall and glad we didn't have to set up in the dark.

As you can see, they have a wide range of food, but their specialties are the Weenies (their burgers are also noteworthy). The two meals that they are especially noted for are:

... Food! Lunch buffet was 7.95 each, including salad and dessert! eat your heart out all those places that charge you $6.99 for a measly sandwich.

Tonight will be the last night in the RV, and tomorrow we get to sleep in a real bed again. My back is very grateful for this thought.

... of starting. We traveled some of our route in our Budget truck yesterday, not too bad.
We returned our Budget truck to a dealer this morning and got our loaded bikes out. Wow, another learning curve. The front of the bikes seem so heavy, we wobbled and wobbled and wobbled down the road. The cars are terrified of us for a change. We had to relearn balance with heavy packs. We had to relearn shifting. I went 5 miles before I remembered I had three front sprockets on ...
