... day in Cadiz. I went through the cathedral & walked to a castle that juts out into the sea. From there I walked some distance around the waterfront (a different part from where the long sandy beach was) until I came to a church, where I hopped back on the bus & went to the central part of town. ... of us felt a little delicate the next morning! Sunday was to be a Bardenac day. We had booked a table for one of their famous lunches. We avoided breakfast and made our way to the restaurant for about 12:30. We then spent the next two and a half hours eating and drinking! Yet another good meal at Bardenac. After having consumed loads of calories we returned to Etang-Vallier and walked around the lake. We were surprised to find some different orchids ...

... available, which reduced the choice even more. I thought it a little pricey as well, but Asia was a special occasion I kept this to myself. The chicken starter I ordered was delicious, all the others except Florence enjoyed theirs. Florence had ordered the Coquelles St Jacques. It was priced at €9:50 and consisted of three of the smallest scallops you have ever seen. She even had to send it back as it was cold when ...
