... a 5 mile hike we stopped at a lovely
little café for Dutch pancakes, ( crepes) There was an old lady cleaning fish
on the sea wall, tossing the guts to the hovering seagulls and watched over by
8 cats!!!! There are cats cats cats everywhere where ever we have been.

... We then decided to have a look around the shops. We came across the most idyllic beach with cabanas, complete with waiter service and fantastic views. We sat there and enjoyed a drink before heading back to get ready for dinner.

... and gorgeous smells. Seeing the bus stop across one corner of our walk we realised we were nearly back and in need of that cold beer but, little did we know the lake was not a lake! There was no bridge to get round the final bend so we had to swim across! Good job we had the water proof rucksack as phones and IPad don't like water! On returning to the bay we have our well earned beer only to watch ...

... Adriatic. Dick was trying to take a picture of me on my camera but kept saying it wouldn't work. I kept calling from the water that it was probably in video mode. He kept yelling "no". I swam back & climbed up the ladder to check it. It WAS in video mode & our whole exchange is on film - Dick's last words (as I took the camera) were " it's NOT on video". If he's not good, I may share ...
