Korčula by Cameron Today we learnt lots about Marco Polo. First we all got up early and had breakfast. Second we walked into town towards Sveti Marco bell Tower. We walked down many narrow medieval cobblestone streets until we finally got to what looked like the centre square. I looked around and directly in front of me was the bell tower. On my right hand side was a small church and on ...

Issy and I woke at about 8:30 to make our way to breakfast, which ran from 8-9 each day. The talk of the meal was Jess, a girl from our group who had ended up sleeping on another boat for the night, meaning she had to do a swim of shame back to our ship later on. Our room was right upstairs about 3 levels above the street and was really awesome with comfortable double bed, ensuite bathroom and a little bar fridge. The room was also spotless. A tick in every box.

Once safely checked in we agreed a 6am time for breakfast with Nina tomorrow and ...

... the door of the church which signifies the stages of life from birth to death . Only a few hundred people live inside the city Walls , now most of them are shops and restaurants. After the tour we browsed the shops and found a particularly fascinating jewellery store , all designed locally, and using a lot of titanium lace. We finished the night at a bar opposite the dock set up high with great views and music.

A slow rocking to sleep.
