    Lunch with an old friend

A travel blog entry by daniel.swiss on Jun 10, 2015

Today I had lunch with an old friend of mine, one of the last people I still know at my first employer. We remembered the "good old days", and we caught up with the kid's stories. I realized that his youngest is now 15; the last time I saw him, he was ...

Thanks to Joel and his friends for helping to make this holiday so special to both Sandy and ...

I was misty more times than I care to admit. On the hillside leading up the stairs to the entrance of the museum, there were a number of physical exhibits depicting the sports the Olympics covers. The world record's high jump bar was on display - which Catherine thought was ...

... we woke up early, bought some breakfast and lunch and took the train to Brig (1 hour). We then travelled from Brig to St Moritz on the Glacier Express (7 hours). We saw some pretty amazing towns and bridges and lots and lots of snow! The panoramic view train is such a great idea but all the glass and the speed makes it hard to take good pictures. I think we managed to get a few nice ones though. We then got on a train at St Moritz, went to Chur, to Zurich and then ...
