... spectacular, the weather is perfect and the beach is packed with sunworshippers. And, as an added bonus we overlook the hotel swimming pool which is also packed with every size and shape Europe can offer.

We quickly change into our Resort Wear, shorts & t-shirt, and investigate all the hotel's amenities. They have bars and restaurants on many levels going down to their private beach which is also packed with guests soaking up the sun. Now when I mention "beach" it is more like ...

We walked down the Main Street from the station to our hostel. It was in a wee back square and was a refurbished old building. The room was modern but quite small, and we shared a bathroom with one other room which wasn't a problem, we didn't even see the other ...

    Genoa- Genova

A travel blog entry by whelan_89 on Jun 18, 2014

Up at checkout from Venice to head to Genova. We have been trying to organise a crossover point to catch up with Johannah and dale. And the cinque terre it is! Accommodation is quite expensive there so we stay in Genoa the night before to save some $$. There are two types of trains in Italy- the regional (slow) and the fast trains. Of course the regional trains are a lot cheaper so this is our mode of transport. Leaving for genoa there is a fast train leaving first so we be a ...
