    Started the day at a leisurely pace. Had breakfast at Bar River a few buildings from our Hotel Fiume. Followed a one day walking tour of Genoa which we did not complete because we got distracted by food venues (I love the Italian food), markets and narrow historic laneways.     Another big storm overnight has cleared the air and freshened things up. We woke late, had breakfast in house and headed off around 10am. Today's driving landscape is characterised by vineyards, sunflowers, olives, corn, industry and poorly maintained infrastructure. The countryside is not as neat and manicured as rural areas in France that we were travelling through at the beginning of our trip.     ... bar and ordered Vino. I can actually order beer and wine in three different languages now, I'm a multi-linguist.

    Once the rain had slowed enough we walked back to the hotel to put the feet up for a bit.

    Wandered just down the road for dinner at a nearby Ristorante.

    Off to Levanto and Cinque Terre tomorrow.

    ... Anyway, suffice it to say that we had a great meal and lots of laughs! Our waitress offered to take a picture of the entire group with Avi's camera. He tried to set up the picture for her and she clearly wanted nothing to do with that! :-). Flash - NO WAY! So - she took a picture of all of us and then Avi took one of her in his seat - along with the rest of us. Pretty fun!
