... get around the corner without hitting anything. Many of the houses have painted facades of shutters and bricks. We also passed several orange and lemon trees growing in the street. I wonder if you can just pick an orange of the tree as you walk along the street . The Grand Hotel Savoia is a great hotel. We’ve been lucky enough to stay in some of the great hotels of the world - the Taj in Bombay, the Cecil in Alexandria and the Winter Palace in Luxor and this hotel is right up there with them. ... for lunch was a challenge and we settled for Foccacia (a local lunch favourite) and pizza. The Foccacia has a variety of toppings to choose from. I had onion on one and fresh tomatoes on the other...delicious. Then back to the hotel for our afternoon rest. We have fallen into a lovely rhythm. We have breakfast around 9, go out and walk from 10 - 3 (including lunch), rest and chores until 7:30 then dinner at 8. We had ...

... a view). Some great photos from here! Down we came and made it to the ferry to take us back to Santa Margarita. A little more shopping, and the heavens opened up!. The rain came to spoil our tour. We took cover at a bar were an Aperol Pritz relieved our pain!. By this time it is around 4pm and we are thinking of getting back. A quick run to the station and we are on our way back to Camogli. Dinner tonight is at the Camogli village. A ...
