... to Split as it kept stopping and starting but we weren't in any real hurry. There wasn't much to look at along the way as it was quite an industrial area. The bus terminated at the bus station and we couldn't work out how to find our hotel so asked someone with an iPad and it turned out to be just a few hundred metres away, which was very handy. ... it felt lovely to us! Our hotel is in Trogir just 6 Kms from the airport and we decided to get a taxi instead of trying to fiddle around with buses and we were glad that we did as it wasn't all that expensive, was very convenient and helped us get our bearings a little. Split is a much larger place and is a bit further down the coast. As we drove the taxi driver pointed out the old town of Trogir which has been listed as a UNESCO site. ...

... as there was no noise. A few minutes later, the older lady sitting beside the pram turned about and picked up her dog from the pram and started brushing and kissing it!! That was enough for me thank you very much! We walked around the venue before leaving and came across a few beautiful Dalmatian dogs. The boys stopped to pat them and the owner came over to talk to us. She told us that it was actually a dog family, the parents and 2 children. The 2 children dogs ...
