Friday Oct. 2nd
After our tour of the old city of Krakow we drove through some beautiful countryside of rolling hills, small towns and villages to Presov in Slovakia. The weather was perfect and we had to drive real slow because of all the road construction, detours and one lane roads.

Saturday Oct. 3rd
We were on the road early as we had a long drive ahead of us. We drove about 650 kms. and drove from Slovakia, through Hungary into Serbia. ...

... As nothing seems easy, we still have to go in line, in person, at the little kiosk, to talk to another ferry lady who finally tells us that our confirmation code from our online ticket is not valid without the barcode we should have received in an email. Outside of the main two or three towns and definitely on the eastern half of the island the lace is really wild, with pine forests, limestone cliffs and turquoise beaches, without a soul in sight. Many if the small towns also rival Hvar town and Stari grad for beauty, with one ...

... up next morning to a very overcast day. The boats were packed in like sardines and our big 52 footer was packed deep in side the pens. As we were contemplating how we were going to get the boat out it started poring with rain. The rain finally cleared and with a bit of shuffling we managed to work our way out of the mooring with out hitting any thing, so off to our next little bay Luka Davenik, a distance of about 25 nautical miles.

More soon
